Professional Background
I am patient focused and enthusiastic Physician Assistant with experience in both the hospitals and medical offices. I am relocating from FL to CT/NY area permanently. I have excellent people skill and dedicated work ethics. In my years of practice I collaborated with Physicians to plan and implement patient care by performing H & P, diagnoses, treatment, and follow-up. I provided pre & post surgical care through discharge by participating in patient surgery; administering proper pre-surgical medication, prepping and assisting in Vascular Interventional Radiology - surgical procedures. I performed Pre-Anesthetic Assessment prior to scheduling patient for surgery. I educated patient families on procedures, regimens, prevention and care. During my practice at NYU, I administered IV contrast and treated reaction also I trained staff nurses and physician assistants how to administer IV contrast injections and treat reactions. I relocated to Florida for limited time only (2010 - 2015). I am looking for PA position in CT/NY area. I will be renewing my NCCPA certification soon. As its an option and not required to work in New York, I am available to start as soon as possible.
My PA Practice from 2004 to 2019
- 2004 Graduated from Touro collage and was offered part time position in Coney Island Hospital by the chairperson while rotating in ER.
- 2005 accepted a full time position in Brooklyn Hospital Center as an Interventional Radiology PA.
- 2006 I took my PANCE, Got certified and accepted a full time position at NYU medical Center with a better salary. Job was suppose to be rotating in Radiology and Interventional Radiology. I never Got to rotate in Interventional Radiology therefore I had to move on to feed my ambition of advancing my career.
- 2008 I accepted a Cardiology position. I was glad to advance in my career and I was very happy with the work I was doing, I was on a path to learn more and more every day but in a very unprofessional environment at work.
- 2009 I was approached by Brooklyn Hospital Center (where I started my career in 2004) for a full time Anesthesia PA position. Before accepting this position, I worked very hard to come up with a solution for the problem of unprofessionalism at work place. When multiple attempts of solving the problem failed, I accepted Anesthesia PA position.
- 2010 I got married and relocated to CT and FL back and forth with my husband for a job project (2010 to 2014). There I worked with a physician in Long term care rehabilitation center with a plan to move back to CT/NY area for good by 2015.
- I did work in few more facilities like Queens Hospital, Main street radiology, New York Med Scan, in between my full time positions to fill in the gaps while waiting for credentials and start dates.
- 2016 Moved back to CT due to my Husband's job relocation. I took time off from my PA career and did some teaching work which allowed me to make my schedule as per my availability.
- 2019 we are settled back in NY permanently and I an glad that I can get back to my PA career. I am looking to work 2 to 3 days a week either part time or full time position. Any specialty will be fine and I am open to explore and learn a new specialty in fact that will be a better option specially if on job training is provided. I am a very dedicated person and a quick learner. I can assure you I am a kind of person who works part time or full time my dedicated work ethics will prove that I belong there.
